Poem : To my Mother

Written on Mother's Day specially for my mum.

She braved all storms
To come to this
She walked all paths
To become free
The ones that detest her
The ones that despise her
She didn't bother
She couldn't bother

As hard as she tried
To overcome the hurdles
Many times she cried
The words really hurt her

But courage was with her
And righteous didn't leave her
Although life made a detour
She was immuned to the people
To the people that tried
To bring her down
To the people who left
Without a sound

Many times I admire
Your courage
Your spirit
And what you did for me
Many times I aspire
To be like you
Never brought down
I really admire you
